Summary: It's Spring time in the capital and everybody rejoices when the Red Caravan and its performers arrive, signaling the start of festival season, however, Prince Yunho is also in town, returning after three years battling in the Holy Land. What happens when the Red Caravan's most famous peformer, Kim Jaejoong, and Prince Yunho meet?
A/N: Update, just because I love you guys.

"How did you get these?”

Jaejoong traced his finger over Yunho’s scars lightly, finding a coin-sized fleshy bump on the prince’s shoulder particularly fascinating. The rain had stopped sometime during their love-making, letting a faint light pass through the dissipating clouds and into the large room, painting their naked bodies with a pale hue.

“War. That’s an arrow wound,” he said, eyes closed while he enjoyed the feel of his lover’s touch.

“And this?” Jaejoong’s finger was now tracing a long gash on the prince’s arm.

“Sword,” Yunho mumbled.

“What about this?”

“Yah! I don’t remember all of them.” Yunho laughed.

Yunho grabbed Jaejoong’s hand and held it against his chest, before pulling the smaller man closer, successfully preventing him from moving. “Sleep.”

Jaejoong tried to pry himself from Yunho’s strong hold half-heartedly. “We still have to attend dinner.”

“Don’t care,” mumbled Yunho against his neck.

“You’re going to care when they send someone to find us and I’m sent to the guillotine for seducing the prince,” Jaejoong stated matter-of-factly.

“We don’t even have a guillotine,” Yunho said, but let him go anyway, missing Jaejoong’s heat as soon as he moved away.

“So not the point,” Jaejoong huffed as he sat up, squirming when he felt Yunho’s cum seeping out of him.

Yunho chuckled, crawling over the blonde and placing a quick peck on his lips. “Come on, let’s go get cleaned up.”

Steam floated heavily around the room, turning borders into blurry lines and making the air thick with the floral scent of the many oils in the water. Jaejoong climbed into the tub in front of Yunho, leaning back into his chest and sighing contently.

“I’m in heaven,” he exclaimed, his head falling back to rest on Yunho’s shoulder while the latter laughed.

“I like your definition of heaven,” Yunho said, his fingers carding through hay-colored wet locks, pulling Jaejoong’s hair away from his face.

Grabbing a wash-cloth he started cleaning his lover’s shoulders, running the cloth over milky-white skin carefully. He nudged Jaejoong’s arms and washed each one individually when Jaejoong lifted them out of the water. He moved his hand around the blonde’s torso, washing his chest and giving special attention to his nipples, earning a breathy moan from the smaller man.

Yunho swirled the cloth over Jaejoong’s flat stomach, avoiding his erection and moving down to his legs, his own hardness pressing against the blonde’s lower back when he leaned forward, trying to reach as far as he could. Going back and over his lover’s ass, his finger slipped inside Jaejoong’s crack, playfully nudging his entrance. He groaned as his finger sank in, finding it still slick with a combination of oil and cum.

“My turn,” Jaejoong gasped and took the cloth out of Yunho’s hands.

He turned around, hands on the borders of the bronze tub while he accommodated his legs on each side of Yunho’s own. He started washing the prince’s chest first, his tongue peaking out between his lips in concentration.

Maddened with desire, Yunho pulled Jaejoong down by the neck and crashed their lips together, trapping that delicious tongue between his teeth, gnawing at it playfully. Jaejoong moved closer to Yunho until their erections touched, the wash-cloth sinking to the bottom of the tub.

“Ready for round two?” Jaejoong panted, his hand already searching under the water for Yunho’s member and directing the blunt head against his entrance.

“It was taking long enough,” Yunho replied and helped Jaejoong guide his penis inside him, licking the long column of his lover’s exposed neck as he moaned.

It was until Jaejoong was seated directly on top of Yunho’s lap that he started to move. Water splashed against the sides of the tub, occasionally falling out onto the wet tiles below every time the blonde impaled himself on the prince’s hard flesh. Yunho met his movements with searching thrusts, smiling in triumph when Jaejoong faltered in his rhythm as soon as Yunho found the pleasurable spot inside him.

He brought his lover down for a kiss, swallowing his moans when he hit that spot dead on every single time. Jaejoong wrapped his arms around Yunho’s neck as they kissed again and again while Yunho helped him speed up, placing his hands on the blonde’s hips and sharing some of the strain his legs were in.

“I’m close,” Jaejoong whispered. “Touch me.”

Yunho’s hand snaked between their bodies, long fingers wrapping around Jaejoong’s erection and started pumping. Soon he felt Jaejoong’s walls spasm around him and with a shout of Yunho’s name, the blonde spilled his seed into the water, exhausted body slumping forward, small waves of pleasure from his orgasm still flowing through him while Yunho kept thrusting inside of him.

He felt himself being lifted up and backwards, his back hitting the border of the tub as Yunho grabbed his hips in a bruising grip, adjusting his angle and speeding up until his thrusts lost all rhythm and he spilled inside Jaejoong’s warm body once again.

Comfortable silence filled the room as both men panted, coming down from their high. Yunho placed his head on top of Jaejoong’s chest listening to his heartbeat. He was still buried inside the blonde but neither of them seemed to mind, their muscles too relaxed and satiated to move.

Jaejoong felt Yunho’s lips move against his chest but his ears did not catch the words.

“What was that?”

“I want to stay like this forever,” Yunho repeated, louder this time.

Jaejoong sighed contently and smiled.

“Me too.”

Jaejoong walked back to his room, a dreamy look on his face. He had eventually pried himself away from Yunho, after a much-enjoyed kissing session that lasted until his fingertips turned prunish in the water. They both had to change into more formal clothes for dinner, and they had already spent the whole afternoon together after all.

When he entered his room, however, he was startled to find Junsu sitting on his bed, flipping through a book.

“Oh God, stop that, it’s disgusting,” Junsu said, pointing to Jaejoong’s face.

“Stop what?” Jaejoong asked.

“Smiling like you were just thoroughly fucked,” Junsu said laughing, letting a very unmanly squeal when Jaejoong lounged at him with a growl.

They wrestled on the bed, messing up the impeccable coverlet, laughing like little children while they tried to tickle the other. It wasn’t until Jaejoong had Junsu in a headlock, the sharp fingers of one hand jabbing at Junsu’s sensitive ribs and the latter called surrender that they stopped.

They were still giggling between pants, their chests heaving with exertion, when Jaejoong spoke. “Anyways, why are you here?”

“Oh, they put your jewelry box in my room so I came to return it and well, I found that book and lost track of time,” Junsu explained.

Jaejoong eyed the heavy volume of The Master of Game, “Okay, you strange child.”

“I also wanted to tell you that being here is not too bad,” Junsu mumbled, blushing slightly. “But you still have to make it up to us!”

Jaejoong smiled. “I will and thanks for bringing my things but you have to go now, I’m going to change.”

“Look at him, he sleeps with the prince and now he gets shy,” Junsu said in a sing-song voice, laughing as he ran to the door, closing it behind him at the same time Jaejoong threw the book at his head, the heavy volume thumping against the closed door before falling to the floor.

Shaking his head, Jaejoong stood from his bed, wandering over to his wardrobe, and rummaged through his clothes for something suitable to wear.

Apart from the troupe there were other three guests standing around the table. One looked like a clergyman albeit he was a very young one, with handsome looks wasted on a life of celibacy. Next to him stood a foreign-looking man with strange robes, chatting amicably with the last man, sitting closest to the seats meant for the royal family. While he seemed to be listening to the foreigner, his eyes were set on Jaejoong, making the blonde’s skin crawl under his knowing gaze.

Jaejoong recognized him as Yunho’s cousin, Heechul, from the time he accompanied the prince to the caravan. He was about to greet the man but clamped his mouth shut as soon as the king and the queen were announced, followed by the crown prince.

The men around the table bowed, raising their heads only when the king and the queen had reached their seats. The king nodded at the group before sitting down, the queen and Yunho following suit. After that the rest were allowed to take a seat, and as soon as the last one was seated the servants started moving around, bringing exquisite dishes from the kitchens and filling each of the goblets with wine.

Jaejoong watched Yunho’s parents from the corner of his eye. The king was a tall man with salt-and-pepper hair combed back from his aging but handsome face. Jaejoong could see the resemblance between father and son and he smiled a little before his eyes shifted to the queen. She was elegantly dressed in a beautiful gown, while her hair was pulled into an elaborate hairdo with delicate golden ornaments that made it look more elegant. Like the king, her face looked aged, but Jaejoong was able to see through the wrinkles at the once beautiful maiden she must have been in her youth.

It was while the servants were pouring soup into their plates that the king spoke, addressing the members of the troupe.

“It pleases me to have such talented artists dining with me tonight. Gentlemen, let me introduce you to our other guests. You must already know my nephew,” he said, pointing to Heechul. “Next to him is Han Geng, our ambassador from China and the third gentleman is Choi Siwon, the Church’s representative.”

“Forgive me but, even though I know some of you through the fame that precedes you,” he continued, looking pointedly at Jaejoong, “I do not know all of your names.”

“There is no need to apologize, Your Majesty,” Changmin said. “The man next to me you probably already know. His name is Kim Jaejoong, our star performer. Next to him is Park Yoochun, a renowned illusionist, followed by Kim Junsu, in charge of all the music and sound effects in our plays. My name is Shim Changmin, and I think Mr. Choi there already knows what I do.”

“He’s a pagan sorcerer,” Choi said with barely concealed loathing, glaring at Changmin.

“Among other things,” Changmin said, the corners of his mouth twitching. “Either way, we are at your service, Your Majesty.”

“Shim… your name sounds familiar,” the king mused, but Changmin made no attempt to clear the king’s mind. In the end the king shook his head, thinking nothing of it and began eating.

The meal proceeded without confrontations, the queen successfully distracting Choi with inquiries about the new Church regulations and the plans for the religious festivities to come. Heechul talked the ambassador into visiting his father’s estate the following week while Yoochun managed to win the king over with some of his less-vulgar jokes.

“When Yunho suggested inviting you to court at first I was against it but now I see it was a marvelous idea,” the King said. “It seems the royal family members are the only ones that haven’t seen the famous Red Caravan troupe perform, with the prince being the exception of course.”

“We can arrange a play for Your Majesty in gratitude for your hospitality,” Changmin said, and Jaejoong marveled at his control of the situation. During the whole meal he kept shooting furtive glances at Yunho, who smiled discreetly at him. It was an understatement to say he was beyond distracted.

“Wouldn’t it be a great idea to welcome Princess Sooyoung with a play?” the queen suggested to her husband.

“That’s right! In a few days the prince’s fiancée will be paying us a visit, would that be enough time to put it together?” the king inquired.

At the word ‘fiancée’ Jaejoong started chocking on a piece of meringue, the sweet treat sticking to his windpipe and making breathing difficult. It was until Yoochun patted his back forcefully that he managed to dislodge the meringue and take a deep breath.

With everybody looking at Jaejoong in concern, nobody noticed Yunho’s mortified face except for Heechul who shot Yunho an incredulous look that clearly said ‘you didn’t tell him yet?’ to which the prince shook his head.

“I’m okay,” mumbled Jaejoong, before looking at Yunho with questioning eyes, but the prince did not seem willing to provide an answer.

“We’ll have to discuss about it before giving you a definite answer, Your Majesty,” Changmin said, answering the king’s previous question.

“That’s alright, even if you cannot manage it for her welcome she will stay with us for a couple of weeks, so there is no hurry,” said the king, and changed the subject after that.

That night after they were dismissed, Jaejoong found himself in his room, curled up on his bed, still dressed and with a multitude of thoughts running through his head, none of which were helping his current emotional state.

He tried to distract himself, reading the book Junsu left behind but finding it incredibly dull. It was sometime around midnight when he left his room and went to knock on Yoochun’s door.

His friend opened the door, standing aside for him to come in, no questions asked. He kicked off his boots and took off his jacket before he climbed under the covers while Yoochun closed the door behind him. The bed shifted when Yoochun slid in next to him, his body heat familiar to Jaejoong.

They stayed like that for what seemed hours, comfortable in each other’s presence; one of them waiting, the other gathering the courage to speak. Yoochun rubbed soothing circles on Jaejoong’s knee, urging him to talk.

“I’m angry,” Jaejoong admitted finally.

“At the prince?” Yoochun asked.

“At myself, for being a fool,” Jaejoong said. “Everybody told me he was going to hurt me and I didn’t listen.”

“Well, listening has never been your forte,” Yoochun said, trying to lighten the mood. Jaejoong snorted, obviously not amused. “But if it helps, I do believe he genuinely cares for you.”

“He cares so much for me he does not tell me he is fucking engaged?” Jaejoong exclaimed.

Yoochun tried not to wince at Jaejoong’s choice of words. The beautiful man was rarely one to curse.

“I’m not trying to defend him here but, did you really think he was just going to forsake his duties for you, Jaejoong?”

Jaejoong tried with all his might to ignore the reasoning behind Yoochun’s words, but he could not escape their truth as much as he wanted to.

“No, I—no,” Jaejoong mumbled. He shifted on the bed, lying face up and covering his eyes with his arm. “God, I’m such an idiot.”

“Talk to him in the morning; let him explain,” his friend suggested.

Jaejoong hummed in agreement and closing his eyes, even though he knew he was not going to get a lot of sleep that night.
