Jaejoong has always struck me as someone who needs to feel loved, and what he has with Yunho and Changmin for him is a twisted way of love that he sees as the "scraps" he gets and is okay with. Yoochun and Junsu know that Jaejoong is only going to destroy himself but can't seem to get through to Jaejoong.
Yunho and Changmin DO care, they didn't at the beginning (maybe I should've written more instances in which they didn't care heheh but I don't want to make this fic too long) but they're getting to see Jaejoong hurt more and more so they want to help.
