“And Cut! Let’s take a break, 10 minutes.”
Changmin hastily took his phone out of his pocket and pressed the keys at an ungodly speed. He closed his phone after pressing the send button and, brushing by a girl trying to touch up his make-up, he crossed the studio in a few long strides, closing the door behind him.
Yoochun knew Changmin was filming next door. The thought made him anxious and turned his scenes into absolute rubbish that had to be repeated continuously. His head was not in it and the director noticed. He got a couple of reprimands for his lousy acting that day before the director decided they better film the scenes without him before and let him calm down.
He was sitting on a set chair, nervously glancing towards the wall in vain hopes of seeing through the material into the adjacent room. The vibration from his phone in his pants brought him back to reality. To say he was expecting that text wouldn’t have been a total lie.
Meet me in the bathroom. You have two minutes.
Yoochun practically jumped out of the chair, knocking it backwards in his haste to stand up. The people surrounding him turned around at the noise but Yoochun paid no attention to them as he approached the director.
“Hyung, I’m not feeling very well, do you mind if I go to the bathroom?” Yoochun said, faking a sick look and clutching his stomach.
The director gave him a look and ushered him away with the promise he would go home or return to do a better job than he had been doing up to then.
Yoochun almost skipped all the way to the door if it wasn’t for the fact that he still had to fake his slow steps and sickly expression.
Changmin tapped his foot against the white tiles of the bathroom floor. The place was deserted and the thumping of his foot was echoing against the walls of the lone room.
When the door opened he held his breath, hoping it was not someone other than his ex-band member but when he saw the distinguishable figure of his hyung he relaxed, letting out the breath he was holding in an annoyed sigh.
“You’re a minute late,” he announced.
Yoochun merely grinned at him and put the lock on the bathroom door.
“The minute it takes from a text to get from one phone to the other,” he replied.
